The Legal and Judicial Studies Centre (LJSC) under the Ministry of Justice is set to host an introductory session next week for participants of the 21st training course for new legal practitioners and the 14th training course for trainee lawyers.

As part of the LJSC's legal training program for 2024, the 21st training course for new legal practitioners will bring together 104 trainees in four groups, while the 14th training course for trainee lawyers will include 23 participants.

The curriculum spans 146 specialized courses in the first semester and 128 courses in the second, providing trainees with skills and practical applications to enhance their understanding. The evaluation process will assess skills, interaction, and a final written exam.

LJSC Director Dr. Saleh Ali Al Fadala highlighted the Ministry's goal of preparing and qualifying Qatari legal and judicial professionals to strengthen the foundations of the state of law and justice. The LJSC aims to provide appropriate legal training to enhance the scientific skills of legal practitioners.

Dr. Al Fadala expressed hopes that the training program would meet the needs of various government agencies, with courses tailored to the requirements of work environments and national development.

LJSC Assistant Director Nada Jassim Abduljabbar emphasized the significance of the introductory meeting in informing trainees about the procedures and arrangements necessary for successfully completing the legal courses and acquiring the required legal skills.
