Doha: Ministry of Public Health announces the registration of 197 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) today (April 14), and the recovery of 39 cases of the disease, bringing the total recovery cases in the State of Qatar to 373 cases.

The new cases are due to people having been in contact with positive cases among citizens and residents. The new infected cases have been placed under complete isolation and they are receiving necessary medical care.

The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar till now stands at 3428 and there are 3048 active cases under treatment.

Ministry conducted 1794 tests in last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 52622 tests 

The Ministry of Public Health calls on all members of society to stay at home and not to go out except where absolutely necessary.

The Ministry of Public Health also requests all members of society to cooperate fully and adhere to all health guidelines and preventive measures to reduce the risk of infection, including sticking to social and physical distancing guidelines. The Ministry also recommends that you regularly visit the MOPH website for the most up-to-date guidance on how to stay safe.
