The French Institute of Qatar, the official French Institute, is the successor to the French Cultural Centre (CCF), founded in 1989. It is located in a detached villa in the West Bay district of Doha. The French Institute caries out the tasks Given to it by the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
