At Al-Qudaibiya Palace, H.R.H Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa received his brother, H.E. Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani.
A discussion was held about the level of joint cooperation between Qatar and Bahrain, as well as ways to strengthen and develop it.
HH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed his wishes for the State of Qatar for continued progress and development, pointing out the fraternal relations between the two countries.
H.H. pointed out the importance of continuing to strengthen these relations towards greater levels that contribute to achieving shared aspirations and reflect the growth and prosperity of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
In the meeting, the Qatar-Bahrain Bridge project was discussed, and the concerned authorities in both countries were instructed to complete the plans and begin implementation.
Also discussed were a number of topics of mutual interest, regional and international developments, including developments in the Gaza Strip, where both sides stressed the need to end the war in Gaza immediately and protect civilians, and the only way for the region to be stable is to implement the international legitimacy decisions of establishing an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital on June 4, 1967.
For his part, H.E. the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his thanks and appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the interest His Highness attaches to developing the relations that bring together the two brotherly countries and peoples.
H.H. the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain held a luncheon banquet in honor of HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
