The Ministry of Interior's Public Auction Committee has declared its intention to auction off impounded vehicles housed in the Industrial Area yard. The auction is scheduled to commence on December 10 and will span a two-week period, running from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Prospective buyers keen on participating in the auction can conduct vehicle inspections from December 2 to 7, between 3 pm and 6 pm, at the Industrial Area Vehicle Impound Yard on Street No 52.

In a preceding development in September 2023, vehicle owners with impounded vehicles held for over three months were issued a warning. They were given 30 days to retrieve their vehicles by paying a penalty. The Ministry had previously stated that vehicles not reclaimed within the specified period would be subject to auction.
