Doha, Qatar: Another state of atmospheric instability is expected to affect the country again from Saturday, April 18 until Wednesday, April 22. 

Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 25 to 31 degree Celsius during this period and minimum will range between 19 and 24 degree Celsius in different regions of the country. 

In a weekend report the Qatar Meteorology Department said that the weather is expected to become gradually partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of rain of variable intensity in intermittent periods becoming thundery at times accompanied with strong wind and hail in some areas. 

The prevailing wind during this period will be mostly northeasterly to southeasterly moderate to fresh at times with gusts exceeding 28 knots during thunderstorms.  

In addition, the wave height is expected to rise to more than 9FT during thunderstorms. 

The Meteorological Department urged all to be cautious and avoid marine activities as well as to follow latest updates through its official social media as this transitional period is known for fast weather fluctuations.
