As described by Qatar News Agency (QNA), Qatar experienced heavy rain today and unusual weather, and Qatar Civil Aviation Authority said rain would continue through the weekend in most regions, accompanied by thunder.

In a statement to QNA, Muhammad Ali Al-Kubaisi, Head of the Forecasting and Analysis Department at the Civil Aviation Authority, said there was approximately 38 milliliters of rain in Doha, and 29.8 milliliters in Al-Wakra.

In the next two days, he expects cloudy conditions and scattered rain in various regions of the country, which may be accompanied by thunder along the coast and in the sea.

Driving during rain requires drivers to pay more attention and follow the necessary safety guidelines, including maintaining a safe distance, staying in their lane, reducing speed, and checking their windshield wipers for function.
