Ministry of Public Health Aims to Streamline Patient Health Records Across Government and Private Hospitals in 2024"

A senior official from the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has revealed plans to establish connectivity between health records of patients across government and private hospitals. 

The initiative is designed to eliminate redundant medical tests and screenings, with the Director of the Non-Communicable Diseases Prevention Department, Sheikh Dr. Mohamed bin Hamad Al Thani, stating that the goal for 2024 is to create a seamless connection between government health facilities and private hospitals.

This integration aims to prevent unnecessary repetition of medical tests, ultimately saving time and costs for patients.
