Qatar has been experiencing high humidity in recent weeks. In the coming months, rains and winter are expected to bring changes to the weather.

Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) announced that Monday, October 16, will mark the first night of the fourth autumn star of Al U'waa.

Over the next 13 days, the star will remain visible in the night sky. While humidity will be present in the first few days of this period, morning temperatures will soon start to improve. While the daytime weather will be warm, night tends to get very cold at times.

It is also the start of the Al Wasmi season, which brings sustained rainfall. It will also lead to lush growth of truffles and other wild herbs in different areas of Qatar.

The Al Wasmi season, which will also begin on October 16, will last for 52 days, until December 6. During the early days of this season, rain signals good rain and eventually winter.
