From 1 am to 10 am on Friday, 1 December 2023, the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will close the Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor to traffic coming from Umm Lekhba Interchange underpass to Thani Bin Jassim Interchange underpass only in the direction of Hamad International Airport.

The service roads and Thani Bin Jassim Interchange signals will be open to traffic.

Umm Lekhba Interchange, leading from Al Shamal to Hamad International Airport, will be temporarily closed.

Ashghal advises travellers headed from Al Shamal or Al Markhiya to use Duhail Interchange to reach destinations on the Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor. The Umm Lekhba Interchange along Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor is recommended for road users travelling from Doha to Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor.
