A joint initiative between Qatar Tourism and the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) will ignite the automotive passion in Qatar through the inaugural edition of the GIMS Qatar, scheduled to take place between October 5 and 14, 2023.
At the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC), the exhibition will feature 31 renowned automotive brands, including Toyota, Lexus, Porsche, Volkswagen, Lamborghini, BMW, KIA, Audi, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, Vinfast, Chery and more. There will be more than 10 world premieres and 20 regional premieres at GIMS Qatar, showcasing the latest innovations from industry.
With four immersive experiences taking place across some of Qatar's most prominent tourism destinations, GIMS Qatar will create the ultimate automotive festival of automotive excellence in Qatar. There will be a "Future Design Forum" at the National Museum of Qatar, thrilling offroad adventures at Sealine, thrilling ride-and-drive experiences at Lusail International Circuit, a gallery of classic cars, and a parade of automotive excellence along the famous Lusail Boulevard.

The Forum for the future of car design will be held by GIMS Qatar at the National Museum of Qatar, in cooperation with the Qatar Auto Museum and Car Design News, in a closed event. There will be keynote speakers, exclusive panel discussions, and networking lunch to facilitate disruptive dialogue and cross-disciplinary thinking to discuss the future of the automotive industry, as well as a rich programme of keynote speakers.
It will offer adventure seekers the chance to explore the surrounding dunes and see the skills and capabilities of automotive brands participating at GIMS Qatar 2023 as they conquer the toughest terrains at the Sealine Adventure Hub, located at the luxurious Outpost Al Barari.
As part of its collaboration with the Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation (QMMF), GIMS Qatar will also host four exclusive Track Days at Lusail International Circuit. We invite guests to experience premier access with the unique opportunity to drive directly behind F1 champions on the newly renovated circuit.
In the Urban Playground at Lusail Boulevard, engaging performances and interactive activities will bring the passion and energy of GIMS Qatar to life. Up to 100 dream cars and unique models will cruise along Lusail Boulevard's iconic 1.3km stretch during the Parade of Excellence on October 12 at 19:00.
Visitors to the DECC will be able to discover the world's greatest and finest motorcars in the Classics Gallery. For all discerning classic car buyers, collectors, and enthusiasts, this exhibit features some of the best cars ever built and top concourse winners. Additionally, the display highlights automotive jewels from Qatari and Arabian private collections.
The DECC will host GIMS Qatar daily from 14:00 - 22:00, and on Saturdays from 10:00 - 22:00. There will be free admission during the weekdays and a ticketed entrance charge of QAR 50 during the weekends for the event.
